Request the free teaching pack here. June is almost here, and so is Pride Month! It’s a time when people all over the world celebrate being proud of who they are - especially people who may be gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or part of the LGBTQ+ community. To help you teach important messages of inclusion and respect in school throughout this month (and beyond!) the Picture News team has put together a free teaching resource. The pack explores this year's 'Trainbow' campaign ran by train companies across the UK, the significance of the Pride flag, and what it means to feel represented. The resource centres on the big focus question, 'How can a flag help people feel seen and supported?' We hope this helps your Pride conversations in school! If you use the resource, we'd love to see photos of your displays and resource work. Tag us on social media!
